Island Thrifting - Homemade Paintings - Local Business
As someone who loves getting creative, thrifting, and shopping local, I decided to combine all three!
MacThrifts began after a conversation I had over coffee. “You’re good at thrifting, can you thrift for me?” was the question that started it all. Since then, MacThrifts has taken off.
However, re-selling thrifted finds wasn’t enough. I wanted to put my own spin on things by combining thrifting, painting, and giving back to the community. Three things that make me feel fulfilled. Since December 25’ we’ve raised over $70.00 CAD for various charities, such as Santa’s Angels, The Food Bank, and Make-A-Wish Foundation.
I am so grateful to anyone who has purchased thrifted goods, reposted my drops on Instagram, or even simply given a like on one of MacThrift’s posts. Cheers to shopping local and treating yourself!

We have raised $50 for the Santa’s Angels Project. This is a local fundraising group that delivers gifts and food to families in need each Christmas.
Fundraising February
We have raised almost $40 for The Make-A-Wish Foundation and Canada’s Food Bank. These charities give support and unique experiences to children in need and provide food for struggling families.
